Still alive
I know that it has been a while we don’t post in this blog, but we’re still alive. To prove that, I want to announce some changes we’ve been making on the site lately.
Search filter operators
We added some search operators to exclude results by words, phrases or domain.
- Use -domain.com for excluding a specific domain.
E.g.: "Family Guy" -twitter.com - Use -keyword for excluding results containing specific keyword/s.
E.g.: "Family Guy" –peter - Use any combination of previous criteria to get what you’re looking for
E.g.: "Family Guy" -peter -twitter.com
New API features
We updated our API with new values on the returning objects, and support for pagination. You can see more details in our API documentation page.
New ordering by relevancy
We are testing a new way of ordering the search results, based on the relevancy of each one. Currently the results more relevant will be shown at the top of each page by default, in the future, we are going to add an option for allowing the user to choose how to order the results.
